  • Primary duties include user support and system administration.
  • Provide support services for University of Pittsburgh staff and facilities in the Office of the Budget and Controller including Housing and Transportation Services, Food Services, University Collections, Student Financial Services, Office of the Chancellor, and many others.
  • System Administrator duties include user registration and instruction, software and hardware support, software and hardware installation, and information and system security audits.

Web Designer and Administrative Assistant, April 2006 - Feb. 2007

  • Debug HTML, site revision, update and verification of content for the Office of Experiential Learning, Undergraduate Research Opportunities, and Internship Opportunities web sites.

  • Ongoing project involved the entry and updating of products for IronCityBikes.com.
  • Requires knowledge of ASP, CSS, HTML/XHTML, and MySQL.

The SCK - www.thesck.com

  • Webmaster for The SCK, a personal project involving the blogs of myself and two friends as well as the distribution of personal programming projects.

Activities

2007 Imagine Cup Tournament

  • Participant in the 2007 Imagine Cup programming competition. The competition is a Microsoft sponsored event in which college and high school students compete in worldwide programming competition. The primary programming language used in the competition was C#, and required intimate knowledge of both C# and the principles of Object Oriented Programming.

The Archive, Co-founder and Business Manager

  • The Archive is an organization founded to facilitate student interest in technology at the University of Pittsburgh. Our members include students interested in computer programming, computer hardware, web design, electronic music, computer gaming, and various other areas related to technology.
